RESTAURANT MANAGER
Immediate start available.
Full-time work ( mainly nights) across a 7 day roster.
We need fun-loving and fast-moving staff to satisfy our customers demands and ensure that the team helping are achieving and exceeding our restaurant goals.
Above award wages paid for the right candidate. (Must have a NSW RSA)

The Company
Lime Mexican Sawtell is totally independent and locally owned and run by a team with over 25 years local business experience in and around retail and hospitality. We are not connected with any other business! The owners work alongside the staff everyday and this creates the atmosphere that leads to our operations being one of the busiest restaurants in the area. The operations are conducted from a modern , new premises with a large footprint in the Main Street of Sawtell.
We operate successfully and busily across our dine in operations & our take away and home delivery operations as well. The business just keeps getting bigger and bigger year on year, even with the pandemic creating confusion with operating restrictions. Lime Mexican Sawtell has strategic and well placed supply partnerships with many local suppliers and also suppliers from around the world to offer our version of a great Mexican dining experience.
Our supply partners include Tutti Frutti wholesale, Bidfoods, The Provedores , Great Ocean foods, Holco and other local providers. Our strategic drinks partners include Carlton and United Breweries, Global liquor , Bacardi, Patron Tequila and many , many more….we also source our tortillas from an authentic Mexican supplier, based in Sydney, that we have partnered with for over 10 years. Our business is where suppliers to the Mexican restaurant business want to be.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Front of House Roles:
(must have current NSW RSA- NSW government currently offering free courses to obtain NSW RSA)
Customer Service staff. (You must love talking to and serving people! )
Bar staff - Fast and Clean & cocktail experience preferred.
Food runners. Table cleaning/ resets- applicable to junior staff under 18 and no RSA required.
Back of House Roles:
Apprenticeship. We are looking to add an apprentice or 2 to our team. Our 3 chefs have worldwide experience at cooking in a vast variety of kitchens and cuisines. Must be happy in a fast-paced and very clean environment and willing to follow instructions from the Chef team.
Chefs/Cooks/Kitchen Hands. (Experienced chef/line cook. Fast, clean and follows instructions to meet the demand)
Delivery drivers / dishies:
A role that we can combine or can separate. Drivers need motorbike or car license, as we have our own delivery vehicles. Dishy's role needs to be fast and effective and willing and able to assist the kitchen crew with all cleaning duties.
Immediate starts are available for applicants available across a 7-day roster. Mainly night work and weekend availability for ALL roles is a must!
This is a busy restaurant that experiences huge demand most nights of the week, but especially across the peak nights and through the holiday periods. The successful applicants will be used to this environment or at least willing to “have a go” in this workplace environment and must be able to deliver the goods every shift every day.
Full-time, part-time or casual employment contracts will be offered to the successful applicants. A flexible work/life balance roster can be created and the current work environment has a great team, with a strong focus on customer experience and fun at work.....our current team, across the restaurant, love what we do every day!
All positions are paid under the Restaurant Industry Award [MA000119]. Every hour worked is paid at our workplace.
All Staff are supplied with t-shirts and caps and are entitled to equal sharing of tips, free meals at work and after work; and generous staff discounts if staff dine with us or order take away on their nights off.
